blur

Yup. This is such an appropriate picture. My eyes have been blurry lately due to lack of sleep and allergies. These days, I've been so busy at work that I couldn't even remember whether I took my Reactine or not.

My life has also been a blur...like trying to control a speeding car with thinning break pads.

Tired as hell. Brain overload.

This was taken at the National Gallery of Ontario. The original photo didn't come out quite as I saw it. It was processed at a place I don't normally go...ick! So, I figured I'd just have some fun with it, as I still really enjoyed the wavering shades, shimmer, and quivering light.

No significant thoughts come to mind with regard to this pic.

But I was thinking a lot today about unexpected opportunities, not closing doors, and loose ends.

This was taken with a $9.99-camera that came in as an offer through my MasterCard. It's soooo dinky:

Not a bad pic, though. I figure if I ever have kids, it could be their first camera. I'll tell them it's a precious antique that no one else has and that it preceded the digital cameras all their friends have. They'll be the coolest kids ever! I'll tell them that it's like holding a mystery in their hands. Everyone else can see right away what they've captured. But they, oh they, will have to wait for the surprise!

I don't think my brothers liked this one very much, but I like its simplicity and calm.
