The woods often seem to invite me into something unknown. In a way I'm a bit scared of what I might find.

This was originally shot in colour and was brighter. It didn't have the right feel, though. I definitely see this scene, today at least, in black and white. It means more to me that way, for some reason.
I used to think that changing the shot was cheating somehow. I now understand more the importance of adjusting it so that others can glimpse its effect on me.
It's a simple observation, but one that I've only recently accepted myself.
