sleepy

That's how I feel now. I look forward to closing my eyes tonight and being at peace, sleep washing the busy day away.

Here's to hoping that the decisions that I helped along today are the right ones.

good thing i looked

I caught this by chance, walking in the Beacon Hill area of Boston. I'm not entirely sure how it is that the blue tint came about, but I enjoy that it looks a pathway to a memory.

This was originally shot in colour and was brighter. It didn't have the right feel, though. I definitely see this scene, today at least, in black and white. It means more to me that way, for some reason.

I used to think that changing the shot was cheating somehow. I now understand more the importance of adjusting it so that others can glimpse its effect on me.

It's a simple observation, but one that I've only recently accepted myself.

music man

This was taken in Boston in ages past, well, 2005. I wondered how many years he has played in this very same spot. There was something tired yet content about him and his strange friend. They've grown to look like each other.
