This was taken last year from the Second Cup at the corner of Charles & Yonge. I remember that it started snowing lightly, and despite the gray, detached view I had of everything, I began to feel somewhat warm inside---in a wistful kind of way.

It was taken around Christmas time last year. I was downtown shopping. This year, I'm back in the city. It was one of my goals that I only spend a year in the suburbs. I inadvertently met my goal about a month earlier than planned!

Despite the ups and down during the year, I'm definitely pleased with the way things have turned out. I've made discoveries about myself and what I'm capable of. Events have occurred that remind me that things can change overnight and that you never know when something you really want to could be coming your way.
